12 Weeks Old

This little guy, who is not so little any more, is 12 weeks old today. A lot has happened in our family these past 3 months. When you are going thru a difficult time it seems as if it will never end but the days and weeks go by and suddenly it is 9 weeks since Parker's surgery and the difficult time starts to blur a little. We have new memories to take its place. Parker had an appointment with the Cardiologist last week. They reduced his Captopril (blood pressure medicine) a little and told us to come back in 3 months and hopefully we will be able to reduce it again. Maybe by the time he's a year old he can be off of it. His EKG and Echo results were great. The heart and aorta are functioning the way they are supposed to. He does have a very slight heart murmur but it's nothing to worry about. In fact I was told that many people have a slight murmur and don't even know it. Parker was also in to see the pediatrician 2 weeks ago for his 2 month shots and weighed in at a healthy 12lbs 4oz. He is smiling, chewing on his fists and last night Brian even had him laughing out loud for the first time. He is such a blessing and we thank God for giving him to us.
