We ended up having 2 parties for Zachary this year. The 1st party was with my family a week before his birthday because Rachel and the kids were here. Zachary is into trains, especially Thomas the train, so my Mom made him a train cake. Mom had made a train cake for each of us girls when we were little. The kids thought the candy on top was the best part. Zachary requested pizza for his party, so pizza it was! The kids eat lunch out on the picnic table, played outside and had a lot of fun together.
The 2nd party was yesterday on Zachary's birthday with Brian's family. We had another train cake, this one from Giant Eagle. It was raining so we couldn't be outside on the patio. Zachary received his first bike with training wheels! He's been riding it around the kitchen ever since he got up this morning. The tires were making black marks on my floors so I finally made him take it out on the patio.
